As we begin approaching the one-year anniversary of Welcome Health in Waynesboro, we reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had and the strong connections we’ve built within the community. From the outset, our goal has been to provide exceptional healthcare while actively engaging with and supporting our neighbors. Engaging with the Community
Our commitment to Waynesboro, Georgia extends beyond providing healthcare; it’s about becoming an integral part of the community. Over the past year, we’ve participated in numerous events and activities that have allowed us to connect with residents and contribute to the vibrant community spirit.
- Waynesboro Exchange Club Lunch/Meeting
- We were honored to speak at the Waynesboro Exchange Club lunch/meeting, sharing insights about Direct Primary Care (DPC) and how it benefits our community.
- Ribbon Cutting with the Burke County Chamber of Commerce
- Our official ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the beginning of our journey in Waynesboro. The support from the Burke County Chamber of Commerce and local businesses was overwhelming and set the tone for our commitment to the community.
- Burke County Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament
- We were proud to sponsor a hole and serve on the tournament committee for this annual event. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet community members and support local initiatives.
- Wagon Barn Market‘s Fall Festival
- Participating in the Fall Festival allowed us to engage with families and showcase our healthcare services in a fun and festive environment.
- Waynesboro Christmas Parade
- The holiday spirit was in full swing as we joined the Christmas Parade through Downtown Waynesboro, spreading cheer and celebrating with the community.
- Boss Hog Cook-Off
- As a Boss Hog sponsor and judges for the Anything Strawberry Contest, we enjoyed celebrating local talent and delicious strawberry creations.
- Bites and Insights Luncheon at Venue 720
- We hosted our first Bites and Insights luncheon, a lunch-and-learn event in collaboration with The Pennant Group. This event provided valuable information about how Direct Primary Care can benefit businesses of all sizes and their employees.
- Mad Anthony’s Big Boom Fireworks
- Facilitating a first aid tent at the Burke County Recreation Department complex during the July 3rd fireworks event was a rewarding experience. Ensuring the safety and well-being of attendees was our top priority.
